Lead Veterinarian
Dr Kate graduated from the University of Adelaide and began her veterinary career in sunny (and very humid) Singapore, working exclusively with small animals. It was there she developed a love for all aspects of small animal medicine—and a soft spot for the tiniest of critters, including hamsters, gerbils, and chinchillas.
Despite missing the delicious food of Singapore, Dr Kate has now settled in Brisbane with her little family. She’s a big advocate for stress-free vet visits and has a real passion for caring for senior patients, helping them enjoy the best possible quality of life in their golden years. She’s also fascinated by all things clinical pathology and could happily spend hours looking at weird and wonderful cells under the microscope.
When not at work, Dr Kate can be found exploring nature with her family, curled up with a good book, or dabbling in watercolour painting and photography. She also dreams of becoming a storm chaser one day—and never passes up the chance to watch a good thunderstorm roll in.
