Veterinary Nurse

Originally from Colombia, Jessica has wanted to work with animals her entire life. She completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at UDCA in Bogotá 2019 and became a qualified veterinarian before moving to Australia, where she now works as a dedicated Veterinary nurse.

Jessica has been in the Veterinary industry since 2020 and brings a calm, gentle and patient approach to every patient she cares for. She has special interests in wildlife, surgical nursing and animal behaviour, and hope to one day validate her degree to continue her career as a Veterinarian in Australia.

Outside work, Jessica enjoys the gym, painting, cozy movie nights, and Colombian food. She is also eagerly preparing to welcome her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever puppy, Esmeralda.
