Between 2001 – 2004 Anita took a few years off to start a family and she is the proud mother of 3 children, Samuel, Grace and Marcus.

In 2006. Anita was offered the opportunity to purchase Yeronga Vet Surgery She couldn’t resist the challenge of owning the local vet surgery where she had previously worked.

Anita quickly built up a loyal clientele and her focus has always been on delivering the highest standards of care for her clients pets.

In 2011. the surgery became a victim of the terrible floods and although the clinic was out of action for some time. Anita continued to serve the local community by offering free check ups and limited veterinary services.

Anita’s passion for delivering the highest standards of care for her clients motivated her to begin designing a brand new surgery on the existing site These plans resulted in the demolition of the existing building to build a brand new state of the art clinic that could deliver the very best veterinary care. Such is her devotion to her clients that she continued running the surgery out of a mobile office and the cattery was fitted out for the reception area and surgery and food sales.

As a vet, my passion is to extend the utmost care and comfort to all the pets that are in pain or discomfort. I aim to treat any injuries, traumas, infections or diseases that your little ball of fur might be experiencing, and give them respite from their pain.

Respect for clients, their pets, other team members and ourselves.

Compassion for clients and their pets to comprehend the possible attachment and emotion that is associated with each pet.

Empathy towards clients and their pets. to listen to clients’ wishes and needs and to respect those needs to comprehend what the pet is going through.
